CASEY MILLER
AWARDED FMA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Each year, the
Fabricators &
Manufacturers Association (FMA) Foundation awards
scholarships to college or trade school-bound high school
seniors seeking careers in manufacturing. One of the 2007
Trade Scholarship winners is Casey Miller.
A 2007
graduate of
Grove City High School, Grove City, Ohio, Casey is
pursuing the nine-month
Structural and Pipe Welding Program at the Hobart
Institute of Welding Technology.
“I learned
about Hobart Institute through my welding instructor, David
Williams,” says Casey. “I have taken two years of welding
at
Southwest Career Academy and look forward to a career in
this field.”
Casey worked
during the summer and began classes at Hobart Institute in
August. He will complete his training May 9, 2008. When
not welding, Casey enjoys motocross racing throughout Ohio.
Casey is the
son of Gary Miller and Paige Kane.
