A seasoned instructor with an additional 13 years of welding experience has been appointed to fill a welding instructor position at Hobart Institute.  Tim Moore of New Holland, Ohio, has re-joined the staff following six years at Edison Welding Institute (EWI) in Columbus.  Prior to his work at EWI, Tim had been a welding instructor at HIWT for 3 ½ years.

During his time at EWI, Tim gained valuable experience in performing welder qualifications and welding research projects.  He has prior experience in gas tungsten arc welding and brazing of aluminum in a production facility setting. 

“We expect Tim to be a valuable addition to our staff as he has the capability and flexibility to teach all of the various arc welding processes,” says Ron Scott, Vice President and General Manager.  “Our students will benefit from his experience and professionalism.”

Tim resides in New Holland with his wife Lori, his son, Hunter, age 7, and his daughter, Taylor, age 3.
