LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Just a
quick note to let you know what I have been doing since I took
the CWI test last July. I really didn't do very well on the
first try. I tried to memorize too much and really got a bunch
of the questions wrong because I didn't look them up. I did
receive a CAWI and retested in October in Phoenix, AZ. This
time I didn't crack a book and relied on what I learned at
Hobart. This time I aced it, no problems what so ever. The
first of the year I went to work for R.W. Hunt, U.S.
Laboratories and they have keep me busy every since. We are
inspecting most of the Wal-Mart stores for structural
soundness. I have used so much of what I learned at Hobart, I
use something everyday at work that I had learned in the CWI
test preparation classes. I would like to thank Elmer Swank
once again for the wonderful program that he and his associates
put together. They have given me so many tools to use in this
trade.
Thanks again.

I completely enjoy The World of Welding. Keep it coming.
There is a lot of useful information in it. A joy to read.
Congratulations on your 75th!
