PRIORITY SELECTION PROVIDED
TO THOSE WITH WELDING TRAINING
The Hobart Institute has received notification of the
acceptance of applicants to the
Great Lakes Area Boilermakers Apprenticeship Program for
Local Lodge #744, Cleveland, Ohio.
Applicants that have a welding
certification or welding training qualifications will have
priority selection over applicants with no welding
qualifications. This advantage applies to graduates of Hobart
Institute of Welding Technology. It is stated that
applicants must provide a copy and proof of welding
certification or welding training qualification at the time of
application.
Applications for
Construction
Boilermaker Apprentice will be accepted by the
Boilermakers Joint Apprenticeship
Committee at the following location, dates, and times
indicated:

Every applicant must supply a copy of their birth
certificate and high school diploma or G.E.D. that the committee
can keep at the time of filing application for apprenticeship.
Recruitment, selection, employment and training of apprentices
during their apprenticeship shall be without discrimination
because of race, color, religion, national origin, age or sex.
In accordance with recent revisions to the Code of Federal
Regulations, Title 29 CFR Part 30, female participation is
encouraged.
