AWS/WEMCO SPONSORS WELDING PAVILION AT EXPO MANUFACTURA
MIAMI - August 24, 2004 - The
American Welding Society (AWS) and the
Welding Equipment
Manufacturers Committee (WEMCO) will sponsor the Welding
Pavilion at Expo
Manufactura in Monterrey, Mexico . The expo is Mexico’s
largest metalworking and manufacturing exhibition and is
scheduled to run 22 - 24 February 2005. This will be the first
Expo Manufactura pavilion sponsored by AWS and WEMCO.
“The decision to sponsor the Welding Pavilion within Expo
Manufactura is our response to the growing international
market, and the need within the industry to expand our global
marketplace,” stated AWS Associate Executive Director, Jeff
Weber. “We are extremely proud of the opportunity to sponsor a
pavilion within this prestigious metalworking and manufacturing
exhibition.”
The Welding Pavilion will feature advanced technologies and
processes that are in great demand in the international
manufacturing market.
