HOWELL NAMED TO

HOBART INSTITUTE BOARD

Robb F. Howell, President of MCD Plastics & Manufacturing, is named to the Board of Trustees of the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology at their annual meeting. 

Mr. Howell is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Harvard University’s Advanced Management program.  He also serves as an Associate Trustee of the American Welding Society Foundation as well as being an active member on a number of boards within the Troy community.  Mr. Howell has a broad background in the welding industry.  He is a former student of the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, served as technical manager of Saudi-Hobart Welding Industries and held various functions of increasing responsibility during his tenure with Hobart Brothers Company.  Robb brings over 20 years of welding industry experience along with strong business acumen to this board position.
