As part of the National Welding Month in April, Hobart Institute hosted a career fair for upcoming and recent graduates. The event was well-attended and students had the opportunity to talk with representatives from CMS Corporation with a home office in Bargersville, IN, Cianbro Corporation of Pittsfield, ME, Crown Equipment Corporation based in New Bremen, OH, Enerfab with a home office in Cincinnati, OH, Matrix Service Industrial Contractors with a corporate office in Tulsa, OK, Merrill Fabricators from Alma, MI, Skilled Trades with an office in Dayton, OH, and the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters from Local Union #776 in Lima, OH. 

Janet Piechocki, admissions representative with Hobart Institute, organized the event and explained that while each company who took the time, effort, and money to participate in the exhibit and talk with students had their own individual needs and enticements, “The overriding message from all of them is: We need welders!  Your training from Hobart Institute is important to us.”
