Bob Fisher has accepted the position as Admissions Representative at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology.  Formerly a welding skill instructor, Bob is filling the position vacated by Terry Brown, who left the Institute to pursue other opportunities.

Bob has been with Hobart Institute for four years and was with Hobart Brothers Company for 23 years prior to that.  He is offering prospective students tours and guidance in their career choices.  He is also available to speak about welding opportunities to students in vocational and high school classes throughout Ohio and neighboring states.  Bob will be working with Jennifer Hall, who provides registration and financial aid counseling.

“Bob’s experience will be very helpful to prospective students who are considering a welding career beginning with training at Hobart Institute,” says Ron Scott, Vice President.  “Terry Brown was an outstanding representative and we know that Bob can hit the ground running and won’t miss a beat in continuing that tradition of excellence.” 

Bob and Robin, his wife, have two sons and a daughter and reside in Miami County, Ohio.
