I enjoy reading your publication.  However, the reprinted article about Lance Cpl. Anthony S. Loftin prompts me to respond because of the photograph on page 5 [Spring 2006] showing the Lance Cpl. welding in a tee shirt.  I'm sure it is hot in Iraq, but the radiation from the arc can and will cause skin cancer.  As a welding instructor in Virginia I'm a stickler regarding welding safety.  FYI.
