NEW PROTECTION PLATES FOR AUTO-DARKENING WELDING LENSES
Hornell,
Inc. now offers Molded Protection Plates for its Speedglas
9000 and Utility series of auto-darkening welding lenses.
The Speedglas
Molded Protection Plates offer the same impact protection as
previous models but with increased clarity due to an improved
manufacturing process. The
molding process also produces curved plates that match the curve
of the lens cassette and are therefore easier for the welder to
install than the old, flat-style plates.
The
packaging of the plates has also been improved, so protective
film is no longer needed, making replacement of plates faster,
and eliminating the possibility of welders not remembering to
remove the two pieces of film.
Speedglas Molded Protection Plates are
available in packages of 10, as well as specially priced
packages of 100 for high quantity users.
