In November, John Timmers was named Developer of Curriculum Materials at Hobart Institute.

John holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati and brings several years of technical writing and illustrating experience to the Institute. He is accomplished in many software programs that will be beneficial to his work at Hobart. John’s professional graphics and color rendering experience, along with his photography abilities will enhance the documentation and training materials he will be producing.

The previous industrial companies that John has worked for have provided him with the background necessary to produce the highest quality of training curriculum to which Hobart Institute clients are accustom. His experience with state of the art computers and equipment will help insure students are presented information that utilizes up-to-date training techniques.

John enjoys music, backpacking, golf and playing/coaching volleyball. He resides in the Troy area with his wife and two children.
