GREG
SCHAFFER NAMED TO
HIWT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of the
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology announces the appointment
of Greg Schaffer to the Board of Directors.
A graduate of Georgetown
College in Georgetown, Kentucky, with a B.A. degree in
accounting, Greg presently is employed as Controller of the
Distribution Business Unit with Hobart Brothers Company.
He held prior positions with Arthur
Anderson & Co., Mead Corporation,
and Litton Industries.
Greg
was appointed to fill a vacancy on the board created by the
relocation of Scott Koizumi who has accepted a position as
General Manager of J & B Aviation Services, Inc., an ITW
company, in Fairfield, California.
“Greg
Schaffer brings a strong financial background to our board which
will be beneficial to us,” says Andre
Odermatt, President of Hobart Institute.
“His knowledge and understanding of the Hobart
Institute will indeed be an asset to us.”
Schaffer,
a native of Dayton, Ohio, and his wife Nancy, enjoy canoeing,
camping, hiking, and growing irises.
