CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
ASG RENAISSANCE RECRUITS HOBART INSTITUTE GRADUATES

ASG Renaissance is an international professional firm that provides “human capital” services to their clients.  Serving small businesses and Fortune 500 companies, their client base ranges from automotive and pharmaceutical to construction, education, government, military and others.

Unlike many employment agencies, ASG does not hire temporary workers.  They locate unique talent and provide multi-dimensional solutions for their clients.  Workers are then hired for full time employment directly by the company that ASG represents.  However, once placed by ASG, recruits may utilize ASG’s services.

Until recently, ASG’s focus did not include welders.

“Demand from our clients directed ASG to begin recruiting welders,” says Rick Berryman, Sr. Technical Recruiter for the firm.  “We came to Hobart Institute because of the good reputation its graduates carry throughout the country.  We are currently seeking welders for multiple clients in the Charleston, South Carolina area, but we are not limited to that area of the country.”

Positions to work in clean aerospace and armored vehicle manufacturing facilities are available immediately.  While gas tungsten arc (TIG) welders with capabilities to weld in the 6G position are direly needed, there are also openings for gas metal arc (MIG) and flux cored arc welders.

“We encourage recruits to make the right choices to meet their needs,” states Josh Roberts, Recruiting Manager.  “We want the employees to consider this as long-term job placement.”

“Welders can come from various backgrounds and experience levels,” says Rick.  “Openings include fitter/welders who lay out parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with blueprint drawings and procedures in addition to welding.  Welds may range from large, structural steel weldments to high grade, x-ray quality stainless steel piping or tubing that are made in extremely clean and climate controlled environment.”

An approximate starting wage is $15 to $18 per hour with the possibility of paid relocation and potential for signing bonuses.

Lizabeth Ardisana is the Chief Executive Officer, co-founder, and principal owner of ASG Renaissance.  The executive management team includes Gregory Rouke, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, and Laurie Bradley, President.  Based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the company also has locations in Dearborn, Michigan, Costa Mesa, California, Leesburg, Virginia, and Cambridge, Ontario.    The woman and Hispanic-owned company employs over 225 with annual sales of about $21 million.  ASG Renaissance has prospered over its 20-year history by being resourceful, creative, and flexible.

Applications may be sent to:  www.asgren.com/careers or send resume direct to RBerryman@asgren.com.  By mail: ASG Renaissance, 27655 Middlebelt Road, Suite 140, Farmington Hills, MI  48334.  Fax:  313-565-4764
